Our Story
The Grimmer Garage is the continuation of the Air Compressor service and parts center that was started by my grandfather and operated by my family for 46 years as MATS Equipment Company in Dayton, OH. MATS Equipment Company was an authorized Grimmer Schmidt service center, and after MATS closed in the summer of 2018, I started this site to keep the legacy of Grimmer Schmidt Compressors alive. We are still offering lots of Grimmer Schmidt Parts, as well as filters, oil, check valves, safety valves, magnetic starters, pressure switches, and much more. Just like MATS was, The Grimmer Garage is an Authorized Saylor-Beall Distributor, as well as an Amsoil Dealer. We carry and install parts for all kinds of air compressors, both stationary and portable. We do new air line installations and new machine installations. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or parts requests.
